DRAFT PLAN FOR THE EASTERN SIDE OF MCINTIRE PARK TO BE UNVEILED MONDAY NIGHT, JANUARY 23RD

Please come out to Charlottesville High School on Monday evening, January 23rd at 6:30 pm!

City Parks and Recreation staff will present multiple conceptual plans for the eastern side of McIntire Park. Following the presentation, there will be a public discussion of the pros and cons of the draft plans.

Both the Planning Commission and City Council will decide the future use of this beautiful 65 acre section of  McIntire Park based on these plans and citizen input,  so it is critically important to come out to the meeting and make your views known.

If you want a public botanical garden that everyone can use and enjoy all year round, please come out and support  this concept at the meeting.  Help us create our own “central park” for the City of Charlottesville.

When:        Monday January 23rd, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Where:       Charlottesville High School, B Commons

Call City Parks and Recreation at  970-3610 for more information or e-mail: mcintirepark@charlottesville.org
